We
revised our big rotor solution to stopping your original drum 1964-78
AMC. You can easily and very economically convert your existing drum or
factory disc spindle to disc brake with our AutoCAD engineered brackets.
We make these brackets right here in the USA with state-of-the-art CNC
laser machinery for excellent fit and finish.
This setup alloys
Ford Sportrac rotors (12" diameter) with 1979-85 Eldorado hoses and
lightweight GM 1/2 ton pickup calipers and pads, giving you an
excellent affordable system that preserves the original factory geometry.
This
will work well with your stock drum master. (we do recommend you change
to a dual disc master with an adjustable bias valve in the rear line). This will require 15" disc rims minimum*. You will not need to do any machining with this kit nor will you need hubs - the rotors contain the bearings and seals.
We include: brackets, bearing spacers, dust caps, and some hardware.
